If the Caribbean has the recipe for beauty, Vieques, Puerto Rico is most certainly her secret ingredient. This tiny island is just a hop away from the main island of PR, and quietly sits on crystal clear waters, waiting to be discovered. Until then, the few who know of this little gem will enjoy it’s wild horses, ancient trees, awe-inspiring sunsets, and one of the strongest bioluminescent bays in the world. We were lucky enough to be set up with Jamie and Evan through Tracy and Alex, and after getting to know them throughout the weekend of festivities, we feel like it was a match made in heaven. With the W Resort as the wedding location and home base, Jamie and Evan and their adorable pups, Midas and Moe started the wedding day with morning yoga for anyone willing to partake. (Jamie’s a yoga instructor in NYC)!) With this perfect morning ritual accompanied by questionably perfect weather, the wedding day could not have been more personal, reflective or genuine. With wind in her veil and tears in their eyes, Jamie and Evan spoke the sweetest words to each other, expressing their admiration for each other and excitement for the future. Heartfelt toasts, songs, and dances later, the evening took off into a party that can only happen amongst the closest of friends. It was a party for the books, and (as you can see below) made for some amazing photos. While we’d love to rave about these two (and believe me, we could go on!) we’re excited to share our favorites from Jamie and Evan’s wedding at the W Resort in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Thanks to you both for having us be a part of it! It was truly an honor.
