Lindsay and Gregg’s wedding represents a significant milestone for Sarah & I. Their wedding (shot in January, yes January) marked the 100th wedding shot by us together! On the plane to Miami it definitely felt like an anniversary of sorts, and a bit emotional to think of how far we’ve come in the past 4 years. 🙂 Yet somewhere in between “reflecting” and patting ourselves on the back, Lindsay and Gregg completely (thankfully) distracted us with what we began to see would be one amazing wedding day. Held at the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami Florida, this wedding had the feel of a Gatsby house party infused with comforts of home like cozy Toms for the bride and bridesmaids, pashminas at all the ladies’ seats, some hilarious and personal toasts, and of course- the practically famous pooch of the bride and groom, flown from their home of NYC to be part of the ceremony. It’s hard to even narrow down my words about this lovely couple (perhaps part of the reason we have waited so long to share this one!). Besides Lindsay and Gregg being the perfect complements to each other, they bring so much energy and humor to every situation! We found ourselves feeling like we were part of the party, and completely lost track of time in the midst of photographing their rockin’ dance party. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 100 weddings than with one that we couldn’t even leave because we were having too much fun.
