As destination wedding photographers, we have the chance to see and photograph a variety of places, and this lovely wedding at Riverside Farm in Vermont was truly one of the most beautiful. Having spent the weekend before in Jamaica, the cool Vermont air seemed especially crisp, and the smell of evergreens warmly welcomed us. We had the pleasure of meeting Lizzie and Jed in NYC where they live while we were there for a few engagement shoots last May and immediately felt like friends, chatting over coffee and learning more about what made these two so great. The wedding itself was a photographer’s dream, with stunning landscapes and the soft northern sunlight, but the love in the air is what really made it worthwhile. At the rehearsal dinner we gained new understanding and appreciation of Lizzie and Jed, and the clear and positive impact they had on so many others’ lives, and the wedding was no different. With a circle of close friends and loving families standing at their sides, Lizzie and Jed exchanged personal and meaningful vows, and enjoyed a reception dinner with the coziness of Thanksgiving crossed with the dance party of the century. Simply put, it was a night to remember.
